And let me repeat once again, I have no additional information which could be provided apart of what is stated above. As I wrote earlier, based on my bank information I can affirm, that the amount of 84.69USD(equivalent of 73.34EUR) was charged by avast./com/ord/ie/912757. Have you seen and/or checked that? And that`s because, first of all, I haven`t ordered anything (from AVAST) & secondly I haven`t asked/agreed/allowed/enabled somebody (in this case AVAST) to charge my card, details of which I haven`t even provided. I can`t provide any additional information apart from the bank statement which was attached to refund form. Avast and Flickr are in no way affiliated. I'd like to point out that Digital River is a third party payment processor and multiple companies use their services. Until I know the folks in charge are trustworthy I have disabled automatic renewal of my Flikr account. a renewal (never mind the fact my annual subscription was purchased only 2 months ago) I hope Flickr investigates this because I really like Flickr but it appears they have hooked up with a predatory fulfillment service. ![]() Apparently the problem is the small print in the agreement we accept when we purchased Flickr thru DigitalRiver that gives DigitalRiver the right to automatically renew our subscriptions and that is what they are calling this act of shoving Avast software down my throat. I did get my money refunded but the thing that needs to be addressed by Flickr is WHY I had my Flikr account billed for Avast Software. I contacted Flikr then I contacted DigitalRiver then I contacted Avast then I contacted Paypal. I need my money back.įour days ago, staff suggested (above) to go here for such problems. The charge was from DRI*FLICKR and supposedly for Avast Software that I did not order. I was just charged $64.34 the exact amount I paid in April for a 12-month subscription here.
